    • You might have to find it at a restaurant/hotel supply shop, I know there are several in the main area and outer sections, they sell to the public, when I worked there in the 1980′s for a Canadian run hotel I bought knives and pastry bags, just check the local directory for the locations nearest you.

  2. What is the difference between a flat beater and a pair of twin whisk?
Whats the difference between a flat beater (K beaters in Kenwood) and the twin whisks when it comes to electric kitchen mixers? Why are flat beater mixers so much more expensive? Is it worth it to buy a flat beater mixer when I have already got a twin whisk mixer?

I am thinking of buying a flat beater mixer but it is near to four hundred dollars (Singapore Dollars) for the cheapest one I can find around. I need to really think about it as it is a lot of money and besides, I already have a twin whisk mixer which I bought for around thirty dollars.

Thank You in advance if you could answer my questions or help in any way, like telling me where I can find a cheaper electric kitchen mixer (flat beater) in Singapore. I don’t need a really good one, just an average one will do, the one I have in mind, also the cheapest I can find is the Kenwood KM260 Prospero. Once again, thank you.

    • Its because flat beaters turn the mix more evenly than twin mixers do, they are also considered more professional.
